News

01.2022: "Vratsanos + Coula, Architects" were appointed as Technical Consultant for the premises of the Embassy of Canada in Athens.

10.2021: Nikos Vratsanos and Nadia Coula participated as speakers in the conference "The Architecture of the (1821) Palingenesia - The Palingenesia of Architecture" held at the European Cultural Center in Delphoi, organized by the Athens Technical University. Their lecture had the title "The parallel Palingenesia/ the parallel Architecture: case study Symi island"

10.2020: Nikos Vratsanos is a member of the judge committee of the 2020 BIENNALE OF YOUNG GREEK ARCHITECTS organized by the HELLENIC INSTITUTE OF ARCHITECTURE.

09.2020: "Vratsanos + Coula, Architects" were responsible for the upgrading of the Athens College Alumni Association club house, comprising new lighting concept and color scheme

09.2020: The new St.Catherine's British School building project in Kifissia, Athens, is concluded, and the School opened for the new year. Nikos Vratsanos, as a Project Architect for "A.N.Tombazis & Associates Architects", was responsible for the Competition winning scheme and the Final Design phase of the Project.

07.2020: The HERACLES GROUP OF COMPANIES (LAFARGE_HOLCIM) cement company successfully moved their headquarters to the former AGET HERACLES building in Lycovrysi, Athens. "Vratsanos + Coula, Architects" were responsible for the Architectural, Interior and Signage Design of the project and provided architectural supervision services as well.

07.2020: "Vratsanos + Coula, Architects" were responsible for the Architectural and Lighting Design of the exhibition "From Homer's world; Tenos and the Cyclades in the Mycenaean Era" held at the Archaeological Museum of Myconos.

12.2019: "Vratsanos + Coula, Architects" were responsible for the Architectural and Lighting Design of the exhibition "From Homer's world; Tenos and the Cyclades in the Mycenaean Era" held at the Benaki Museum in Athens. The Project was published in EK ARCHITECTUREPLUSDESIGN magazine (issue 245, 03.2020)

08.2019: "Vratsanos + Coula, Architects" were responsible for the architectural design of two exhibitions held at the Marble  Craft Museum in Tenos Island, curated by the Peiraeus Bank Cultural Foundation. The first one, "From Homer's world; Tenos and the Cyclades in the Mycenaean Era", was centered around the findings of the Agia Thekla tomb in Tenos. The second one, "Dimitrios Philippotis the Tenian", celebrated the 100 years from the death of the seminal sculptor.

04.2019: The radical refurbishment (including structural reinforcement, radical reconfiguration and total upgrading) of Building C of the Resort Complex "Eden Beach Hotel" in Lagonissi, Athens, was successfully completed. "Vratsanos + Coula, Architects" were responsible for the Final Design and Construction Design studies, on behalf of the contractor (EKTER).
